The Stroke Association – the UK’s leading stroke charity – are committed to changing the world for people affected by stroke. One of the ways they do this is by setting up Funds for their supporters. Funds are a great way for people to share their story with friends and family and keep track of their fundraising activities to help fund vital stroke research and support for people affected by stroke.
Listening to supporter feedback, the Stroke Association realised that there was a gap in their Fund offering – stroke survivors wanted their own kind of Fund to recognise they had won their fight against stroke and now wanted to help conquer stroke for everyone. Our brief was to bring the new Strike Back Fund to life, to give it its own identity and encourage charity colleagues and stroke survivors to get involved.
Yebo in action…
Not only did we create a striking new identity, worthy of the Strike Back Fund, but to help colleagues and supporters understand the role of Funds in general, we also repositioned the Family of Funds available and how to choose the right one – a Remembrance Fund, a Celebration Fund or a Strike Back Fund. We did this by explaining how Funds can make such a massive, positive difference to everyone affected by stroke, helping them come to terms with life after stroke. Our team of designers developed an array of internal and external collateral to support the launch of the new brand, including: postcards, notebooks, leaflets and copy for a dedicated landing page on the main Stroke Association website.
The Strike Back Fund has now been launched and early feedback is extremely positive. Our next step is to design and implement an online campaign to further drive awareness and take-up of the new Strike Back Fund and the great work of the Stroke Association – together we will conquer stroke.
